Mark Warner’s 2008 race off to a great start

One thing about attending a major event like the Lisa Collis-Mark Warner annual pig roast, I never seem to have enough time to talk with all the great Democrats I’ve come to know since becoming a “Newcomer” to Virginia more than 10 years ago.

Guests at the festivities administered the Democratic Party of Virginia’s 2008 U.S. Senate candidates first major test: could he personally greet every one of the over 5,000 people in attendance?  After watching him for over five and a half hours doing just that with only minor interruptions (to ice a leg injury he got earlier playing basketball), I’d say he aced his first exam.
