Post Pennsylvania Morning Email From Obama Volunteer

Fellow hopemongers,

Do not be disheartened or discouraged about tonight- we came back from a 20 point deficit! And we are only looking forward in this campaign. Right now that means North Carolina and Indiana, Oregon, West Virginia, and so forth!

I know you’re tired, and you’ve spent a lot of money. You’ve traveled to other states, made phone calls, worked outside of your comfort zone, and dedicated a lot of time to this campaign, all for the idea that our collective voices can make a difference in this world. That hasn’t changed. Hundreds of thousands of new voters registered as Democrats for the primary today, and these are new friends, new allies, in our call for change. We can’t let them down any more than we can let down the people who have been working with us for many, many months!

It’s up to each one of us to continue our work on behalf of this campaign, as unflagging as ever. Please consider traveling to NC or Indiana. If you don’t have a car, find someone who is going and ride with them. If you can’t take the time off work, make phone calls. If you can’t make phone calls, write post cards. If you can’t write postcards, donate money. Whatever you can do for this campaign, it is still needed.  Perhaps now more than ever.
