We have just five days to Get Out the Vote so that we can elect more Democratic voices to the State Senate, House of Delegates and local offices.
With the Republicans controlling the rest of state government, our slim, four-seat majority in the State Senate is the only thing standing in the way of the Tea Party’s agenda. And voter turnout could be the deciding factor in Tuesday’s elections.
That’s why I’m lending a hand to candidates and volunteers across the Commonwealth for this weekend’s get-out-the-vote efforts — attending rallies and visibility events, knocking on doors and making vital phone calls to identify last minute voters.
