Virginia’s Democratic Primary for Governor Keeping Candidates Busy

With more than 6 months to go until the June 9th Democratic Primary none of the three potential candidates for Governor are letting any grass grow under their feet.

Brian Moran has recently picked up the endorsements of Newport News Mayor Joe Frank, Hampton Mayor Molly Ward, Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim, Portsmouth Mayor James Holley, and outgoing Virginia Beach Mayor Meyera Oberndorf

Creigh Deeds team responded to those endorsements with one from 9th District’s Congressman Rick Boucher who recently won re-election to a 14th term.

Terry McAuliffe meanwhile has been traveling the Commonwealth meeting folks at events like the Democratic Party of Virginia winter meetings, the Lancaster County Democratic Committee’s Holiday Party … he promises an official decision on becoming a formal candidate on January 7th.

Most importantly Governor Kaine and newly elected Senator Mark Warner have not endorsed any candidate.
