Rappahannock Region for Obama Brings Inauguration Events to Our Community


“You don’t have to be in Washington, D.C. to be part of this historic inauguration. There are plenty of ways to get involved in your own community, from joining the January 19th National Day of Service, to hosting your own Neighborhood Ball.” Click here for more info

We’ve scheduled the following two grassroots events

Event Name: Grassroots Inauguration Watch
Description: TUESDAY, JANUARY 20–INAUGURATION DAY; Come watch the inauguration with other grassroots Barack Obama supporters as we gather at The Central Rappahannock Regional Library in Fredericksburg to watch Barack Obama be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America.
Time: Tuesday, January 20 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Rappahannock Regional Library (Fredericksburg, VA)

Fredericksburg, VA 22401
Note: Refreshments will not be provide and attendees are being asked to bring a can of food which will be delivered to our local food bank.

Event: Grassroots Inauguration Reception
Description: Come celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama for the 44th President of the United States as we gather at The Central Rappahannock Regional Library in Fredericksburg to celebrate all of the work grassroots supporters did to help change the course of history.
Time: Tuesday, January 20 from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: Rappahannock Regional Library (Fredericksburg, VA)

Fredericksburg, VA 22401
Note: This is a grassroots event and attendees are asked to bring  a “pot-luck” dish to share and to also  bring a can of food which will be delivered to our local food bank.
