Update on Virginia GOP’s Cantor Use of Taxpayer Money

note:  the following comes courtesy of the DCCC:

The Roanoke Times took Cantor to task: “Cantor should quit making American taxpayers support the Republican Party’s effort to revitalize itself…” (http://www.roanoke.com/editorials/wb/205212)

Cantor’s taxpayer-funded GOP rebranding effort isn’t even pretending to be non-partisan any more:

When the National Council for a New America launched last month, Eric Cantor’s spokesman, Brad Dayspring, told me that Newt Gingrich hadn’t been invited to join the National Council for a New America because he runs a “partisan” 527 organization, American Solutions.

Gingrich quietly signed on to the group anyway.
