Virginia Democrats “Values In Action Food Drive”

Dear Friend,
This time of year is a great time to celebrate the holidays and spend time with the people we love. It is also a great time to reflect on the values that make us who we are and keep us fighting for a better Commonwealth, country and world.
Values like justice, equality of opportunity and shared prosperity are at the core of who we are as Democrats. That is why I am writing you today to ask you to join me in putting our values in action by helping struggling Virginia families who do not have enough to eat.
By donating to the first annual Democratic Party of Virginia/Organizing for America Values in Action Food Drive you will join the fight against hunger and send the message that Democrats don’t just talk about our values, we put them to work on behalf of families around the Commonwealth.
This year’s food drive is the first in a series of DPVA Values in Action projects that will showcase the many ways that Democrats are spreading opportunity, justice, equality, and prosperity in communities around the state.
I hope you will join me this year in buildin g a better Virginia one can of corn or jar of peanut butter at a time by clicking here and pledging to donate to our food drive to benefit food banks all over Virginia. On the website you will find a list of locations around Virginia where you can make your donation. If you are unable to make it to one of these locations but still want to get involved, I hope you will consider making a monetary contribution to the Virginia Federation of Food Banks, which you can do by clicking here.
On behalf of the Democratic Party of Virginia I want to wish you a Happy Holidays and to thank you for your continued effor ts to move our Commonwealth forward.
