Kaine Joins GOTV Efforts With Loudoun and Prince William County Events Sunday

We have just five days to Get Out the Vote so that we can elect more Democratic voices to the State Senate, House of Delegates and local offices.

With the Republicans controlling the rest of state government, our slim, four-seat majority in the State Senate is the only thing standing in the way of the Tea Party’s agenda. And voter turnout could be the deciding factor in Tuesday’s elections.

That’s why I’m lending a hand to candidates and volunteers across the Commonwealth for this weekend’s get-out-the-vote efforts — attending rallies and visibility events, knocking on doors and making vital phone calls to identify last minute voters. On Sunday, I’ll be in Northern Virginia, and I hope you can join me on the campaign trail. I’ve included the details below.

Protecting our four-seat majority in the State Senate is critical to protecting investments in education and infrastructure, and maintaining the safety net for those who are struggling. And your support for our candidates can make a big difference and goes a long way toward helping my 2012 campaign. Thank you for your continued commitment.

Sincerely,
Tim Kaine
